Piekarski Ready to Attack ACT Tour
NASHUA, NH – Brenton ‘B.J.’ Piekarski is the 2004 ACT Late Model Tour Rookie of the Year. He was just one of a handful of drivers that qualified for every race last year. Friday night, May 6th, Piekarski will look to improve on his rookie season with the tour’s season opener at the Lee USA Speedway in Lee, NH. The race was originally scheduled for two weeks ago, but rain as postponed the first two events of the season.

Piekarski has managed to get some track time in his Toyota of Nashua/Collision Centers of NH sponsored late model.

"We have tested at Seekonk Speedway, Lee and at Thunder Road," said Piekarski.

"I am extremely happy with the car so far. It handled very well at each of the tracks and the team has had to make just minor adjustments to the setup at each test session," continued Piekarski.

With a number of heat race wins at Lee, Piekarski now looks to add to the win column with a feature event victory. He was running in the top five in last year’s season finale when he suffered a mechanical problem which sent him to the pits under green flag conditions, ending any hope for a win.

"We are focusing on top five finishes this season, but as a racer, a win is always the best outcome," says Piekarski.

Following Lee, the team will compete at Thunder Road in Barre, VT on Sunday, May 15th and at Oxford Plains Speedway in Oxford, ME on May 21st.

Piekarski is a Nashua native and a senior at Southern New Hampshire University. For more information about PBJ Motorsports, log on to www.pbjmotorsports.com.
