PBJ Motorsports to Compete on ACT Tour; Team Announces Marketing Partners
Nashua, NH – PBJ Motorsports, based in Nashua, New Hampshire, recently announced plans to compete on the premier late model stock car racing division the American-Canadian Tour for the 2004 racing season. Twenty-year-old Brenton Piekarski of Nashua, NH will pilot Late Model stock car at nine different race facilities in New England. Piekarski has experience competing at three of the nine tracks on the schedule and looks to use that experience to his advantage. Piekarski has adapted well to a variety of tracks over the years and looks forward to the challenge of the next level of competition at tracks in Vermont, Connecticut, New York, and Maine.

"We had a good year at Lee Speedway this past season, but we felt it was time for the team to grow to the next level of competition," said Piekarski.

"I look forward to returning to a number of tracks I haven’t seen in a couple of years and I am very excited to venture out to tracks such as Thunder Road and the Oxford Plains Speedway," continued Piekarski.

PBJ Motorsports expanded its marketing program for the ACT Tour and is happy to announce the renewal of existing partners Collision Centers of New Hampshire and Dupont Performance Finishes for the 2004 season. But the big news is the new partnership with Toyota of Nashua joining PBJ Motorsports as a primary sponsor.

"Toyota’s involvement in the NASCAR Craftsmen Truck Series has introduced a new market for local dealers," commented Toyota of Nashua President Chris Piekarski.

"We are planning a number of cross-promotion events with PBJ Motorsports through their race events at the local NASCAR-sanctioned tracks. Our staff is very excited about the partnership and we look forward to a successful season as a member of the team," continued Piekarski.

Additionally, an associate partnership has been penned with Merchants Rent-A-Car, with corporate offices in Hooksett, NH, joins the team with great enthusiasm with 15 locations throughout New England.

"Merchants Rent-A-Car has been involved with racing over the years, but the partnership with PBJ Motorsports will expand our presence in the sport with many races near all 15 locations," said Marketing Manager Diana Holland.

"The continued growth of the sport, combined with the shared interest of Merchants and PBJ Motorsports to use the team car to help increase awareness at charitable events, is definitely a benefit beyond the race track that can impact the efforts of a number of non-profit organizations," added Holland.

The first race of the season will take place May 2nd at the famed Thunder Road International Speedbowl in Barre, Vermont.
